It commemorates the 20th<\/sup> anniversary\nof the Antonia Guerrero<\/em> educative foundation. it was painted by the local artist, Francisco\nAlarcon who has contributed with other murals in the town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Antonia Guerrero was a woman who left an\ninheritance to set up a foundation to help provide further education to women from\nEstepona from families of little means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This mural shows two figures: on one side there\nis a woman who incarnates Antonia Guerrero in her youth, dreaming about studying\nand feel fulfilled in this area, and on the other side there is a goldfinch\nwhich symbolizes her dreams of freedom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The mural is eight metres high and was painted using wide range vivid colours, intending to reflect the vitality of Antonia Guerrero herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 35 – ANTONIA GUERRERO, SUE\u00d1O DE LIBERTAD de Francisco Alarc\u00f3n P\u00e9rez.
